EVENTS
Subathon Miami
A month of non-stop live streaming from a villa in Miami, for the release of GTA 6, with JLTomy. I'm in charge of communication, from preparation through to the live itself, on site for the whole month.
- 01
Building the setup
A communication plan in three phases: the announcement and teasing, the live, then what comes after, with the aftermovie and the recap. Everything is tracked in a project workbook: tasks, decisions to make, publishing schedule, assets to order and metrics to collect.
- 02
Writing the announcement trailer
The trailer script was written with the crew: Tom Holland's French voice actor tells Toma's story over Toma's own archive footage, up to the present day. The production company was chosen with the agency.
- 03
Briefing the art direction
The graphic designer's brief covers the logo, the main poster and a mini style guide, then three waves of assets: the announcement pack, the teasing with a boarding pass for each guest, and the stream overlay, counter included. One rule from the start: no official game elements in the project's identity.
- 04
Giving each account a role
Seven accounts on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X, each with its own purpose: the live, vlogs, daily best-ofs, high-volume clips, photos, real-time updates. Each day, it's clear what goes out and where, with recurring slots such as the day's outing or the evening debrief.
- 05
Organizing the clipping
I manage the team of clippers on TikTok: around ten people taking turns on the live. Each clip is logged in a shared spreadsheet, then the best ones are selected and published. The team is organized on a Discord server, set up with scripts that build it and handle members joining and leaving.
- 06
Tools for the community
A banner generator for viewers: each person types their username, adds their photo if they want, and downloads their X banner and profile picture in the colors of the operation. Everything happens in the browser; no photo is sent anywhere.
- 07
Being on site
During the live, I will be in Miami: content approval, the X account, and TikToks filmed on site. With the six-hour time difference, the key moments are scheduled for the evening in France, and the team takes over at night.
WHAT I TOOK FROM IT
On a month-long live, each account needs a clear role, otherwise everyone posts the same thing.
